"Washed by the Water"

Wednesday night we had our "Service in the Park." Because traffic is crazy in Concord when there's a race on Sunday, we cancel our Sunday service and instead have it in the Park on the Wednesday before.
This service was our baptism service. We had 20 people prepared to be baptised. Before the night was over, we had between 40 and 50 people baptised! People were walking up emptying their pockets and lining up to be baptised.It was a really wonderful and touching service.
The picture above is our friend Michael being baptised. His wife, brother and brothers girlfriend were also baptised that night.

Afterward Darren and I went to Scott and Darian's house to watch the season finally of American Idol and boy was it good! Yay for Kris Allen! It shows that American may still have a little bit of moral standards left in them.

We are looking forward to our vacation in Florida this weekend! Pray that the weather clears up there!
