Memorial Day Weekend - Palm Coast 2009

Darren and I had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend in Palm Coast. We arrived at Anne's house on Friday night around 9:30 and did some well needed catching up. It was great to stay at Anne's house again, just like old times. She fixed us breakfast on Saturday morning just like she used to. Before leaving the neighborhood Darren and I saw some bikes for sale with our names written all over them. The people took exactly what we had in our wallets which was $40 for 2 bikes. The money was Scott and Darians wedding gift to us that they had just given us before our tip. We are so excited because now we get to go bike riding with them which is what they've been wanting us to do but our lack of bikes were holding us back. haha.

After that excitement we headed to Laura Lee and Barry's house to meet our new little cousin, Davis! We stopped off and visited Jay and Tina Goolsby for a few minutes. We love and miss them dearly.

After eating lunch with Laura and Barry, we got to sit around and play with the baby. He so well behaved and it was really great to see Laura and Barry again. It brought back memories from when Darren and I first met.

Later that day we went to St. Augustine to surprise a friend from work and eat dinner where she now waitresses, Sonny's. She told me on the way down that she was pregnant so Darren and I had a fun time baby shopping for her before dinner.

On Sunday we had a great time seeing all of our Parkview friends and visiting. We started with breakfast at Dunkin Donuts with the Skripkos and Compton's then headed to church. After church we hurried to the Walker's house where we had hours of fun in the sun and water. Darren turned into a kid again, along with all the men while us women watched in laughter. That night Darren and I took our friends Natasha and Briana out to dinner and did some more visiting. Finally we got up and after taking a few pictures for the house in St. Augustine, we made our way back home....I'm now at the office daydreaming about the weekend ....
