End of July Florida Trip!!!!!

Darren and I had such a wonderful time in Florida this past week. We left on the Saturday morning right after camp and headed straight to Palm Coast. Darren lead worship at Parkview at all the Saturday and Sunday Services. It was really nice and encouraging to see all our old friends. I loved spending time with my little cousin Davis. He's an awesome kid.

On Saturday night after church Darren and I grabbed some dinner and headed to the beach to have a make shift picnic. It was nice and kind of reminded us of old times.

After the Sunday services, we ate lunch with our friend Briana then headed to Jay and Sylvia's for a fabulous dinner. After dinner we all packed up and headed to St. Augustine for a photo shoot. Darren and I got some pictures together but we tried to get more of Darren to be used for his music stuff (Cd's, Flyers, etc.) - Speaking of which Darren is playing at SUPPER restaurant again on Saturday night.

Anyways on Monday we decided to make it a beach day so Darren and I along with Darrens mom headed to the beach. Darren's mom came with us to Florida. She went to Fort Lauderdale with Anne while we vacationed in Orlando. I heard they had a blast.

Darren and his mom enjoyed swimming in the ocean and then that night we had a big party over at Annes and lots of our old friends came. It was really great to see everyone. After the party we went to Laura and Barry's to catch the finally of the Bachelorette, it was really fun. We love spending time with them.

We left Tuesday morning and headed to Orlando. We got settled in our wonderful room and then headed out for some food and entertainment.
We stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club. It was a beautiful resort with huge pools and deli's and restaurants inside. We kind of regret that we didn't take advantage of all that.

The resort was connected to the outlets so we went there a few times and browsed around. We also went downtown Disney and Universal during our time in Orlando.

On Friday we packed up and made our way back to Palm Coast. We rested a bit before going to St. Augustine and visiting where I used to work so I could see all my babies and how much they've grown. I also enjoyed seeing my old coworkers, I miss them a lot.

That night we went over the Laura and Barry's and watched a movie and played with little Davis for a while. We miss them and loved spending time with them this past week.

Alas on Saturday morning we started on our way back to Concord.... the ride was pretty long but we made it back to reality..... :)
