Well...I'm guilty of "squandering" some time today. Just like every Thursday, I'm sitting in the office, it's pretty quiet for the most part but the sun is shining and it may get above 70 degrees today which is cause for celebration. Freedom from the Ice Age we entered into in January. It's funny, I distinctly remember January 12th when we pulled out of Palm Coast seeing people surfing while driving on A1A.



So today's news is not only have we had numerous noise violations in the apartment due to a 4 month old, 6 pound puppy who suffers from extreme separation anxiety, we also found out that our water heater leaked through to the lady under us who has managed to keep a high score at "The Silent Treatment" since she moved in.



Good news is Darren and I are off to see Dave Matthews in Charlotte tomorrow night. That should be fun. Since it was on Darren's "Bucket List," I tried to get us some good seats and managed to get some section 3 tickets which were pretty hard to come by. It was a small fortune and part of my soul but you can't put a price on memories.



Darren is scheduled to play Saturday night at Rocky River Coffee house. It will be his first coffee house gig since the Palm Coast Starbucks (props to Keith). We're both looking forward to that. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures and a set list soon after.



I'm looking forward to tonight being a nice relaxing evening. It seems like this week has been so hectic but I guess that has helped it fly by. Last night was band rehearsal (I'll be singing "Shadow Feet" on Sunday and I'm pretty excited about it), Tuesday Darren had a Leadership meeting at 7 or something like that so I did grocery night alone... to come home to the panicked pup and had to give him a bath.



Overall I was happy with the American Idol results show so it was a good night.
